Welcome to issue 14, I hope the first of many in 2025. I often don’t take enough time to look back on the past 12 months of photos. I should, but I find it easier to look forward. It is known as a time to reset, tick off goals, and define the new path for the year but for now, here is a moment to look back.
Thank you to those who have reached out, followed and engaged in 2024 – happy new year!
Summer in the Southern Alps, New Zealand. From my most recent trip to the mountains. Shot on the Canon R5 Mkii + RF100-500mm
Byron Bay, Australia. Winters in the ocean are so manageable here.
Spring clouds perched across the Tasman Bay
A night shoot with a handheld tube light. I’ll be sharing more of this project soon.
I’m always amused by the colour of the water here. It’s more of an editing challenge to dail it back to not look so surreal.
Often torn between the mountains and the ocean. Sundown snacks this summer.
Winter: Byron Bay, NSW
The common line of traffic on a pumping swell.
My coastal gravel bike loop. Bluehour on a humid morning out east.
Testing the fitness with some vert. 1400m gain over 2.4km
The blues are different out east. 9:45 pm sunsets
Life session. Chase it, no matter the weather, you’ll always be surprised.
A common East Coast swell.
The results of the above. An often cause and a reminder of the oceans power.
An introduction to a new project I’m working on. Stay tuned in 2025
Again, thank you for reading, engaging or just stopping by in 2024. I’m filled with gratitude for any amount of support. I look forward to sharing more along the way and if have any questions, reach out. I’m always open to sharing more of my process with you.
Absolutely love this Rich! Thanks for sharing!
